The Video Converter utility is used to convert the existing video file from various formats to CleO compatible video file format. The conversion is performed by the utility - FFMPEG.
The following steps will guide you through to do the video file conversion using the PC Tool's Video Converter utility -
1.Click CleO Module Tool -> Video Converter.
2.The Video Converter utility user interface is displayed.
3.Select the "Input File" to convert, by clicking the "Browse" button. Upon selecting the input file, the meta-data like input folder name, encoder, duration, sample rate, etc. are displayed in the "Log" panel.
4.Select the "Output Folder" under which you want to store the converted output file by clicking on the "Browse" button.
5.The "Output Video Size in Pixel" combo box value is defaulted to "320 X 480 pixel" as CleO currently supports only this pixel. Similarly, the "Output Video Codec" combo box value is defaulted to "mjpeg" as CleO currently supports only this codec format.
6.Select the "Output Audio Sample Rate" value from the drop down combo box if there is audio encoded in the input video file.
7.Upon providing all the input parameters for video conversion, click "Convert".
8.A progress bar indicating that the conversion is in progress is displayed.
9.Upon successful conversion, the status of the conversion is shown in the "Result" field.
10.Click "Open Output File Location" to access the output file. This output file will be using the same name as that of the input file and will be suffixed with a .avi extension.
