Generate Icons

The Generate Icons utility is used to generate one single .ftico file from multiple same-sized PNG / JPEG files.


The following steps will guide you through to generate icons file using the PC Tool's Generate Icons utility -


1.Click CleO Module Tool -> Generate Icons.

2.The Generate Icons utility user interface is displayed.

3.Select the "Input Files" by clicking the "Browse" button. The selected file should be of JPEG or PNG format.You can select multiple files using the Ctrl Key.

4.Select the "Output Folder" under which you want to store the generated icons file by clicking on the "Browse" button.


5.Select the "Output Format" from the drop down combo box.


6.Click "Generate".


7.Upon successful generation, the status is shown in the "Result" field.

8.Click "Open Output File Location" to access the generated icon file. The icon file generated will be using the same name as of the first input image file without any extension. The icon file will be suffixed with a .ftico extension. You will also find a .h file (which is an auxiliary file) under the same directory. This .h file lists out the sequence of each input file located in the ftico file.


For example, if the names of the input icon file used for conversion is im0005.png, then the generated icon file will be named as im0005.ftico and the auxiliary file will be named as im0005.h.
